About The Position

A Store Technology Support Specialist plays a key role in keeping daily store operations running smoothly by providing on‑site support for all technology and equipment. This team member troubleshoots and repairs devices such as printers, registers, keypads, handhelds, scanners, and other store systems. They respond quickly to tech issues, partner with leaders and team members to resolve equipment problems, and ensure all technology is functioning efficiently to support great customer service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on problem‑solving, has strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Strong listening and communications skills, face-to-face and virtually.
  • Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.
  • Problem-solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary.
  • Desire to work with customers.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Friendly outgoing attitude.
  • Ability to operate cashier register system.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous retail or customer experience preferred but not required.

  • Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks.

  • Complete transactions, handle money in all forms responsibly and maintain accuracy of point of sale purchases.

  • Be prepared to handle customer questions adequately and appropriately.
  • Build trustful relationships with customers to encourage return visits.
