About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining a high standard of the overall look and feel of the store, which includes maintaining store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises. The team member will deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop the store and find what they’re looking for. This role also involves collecting and disposing of trash, dusting and damp mopping floors, moving equipment and products for proper cleaning, and cleaning assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. It may require mixing water and detergents to prepare cleaning solutions. The team member will deep clean key areas of the store, including bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and other high-traffic areas to maintain a clean, safe environment for customers and staff. They must keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly, notify supervisors of supply needs, and seek out areas requiring cleaning, taking initiative to complete tasks. All tasks will be completed in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines. The role requires maintaining positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers, projecting a positive image, and serving as a role model. Additional duties may include providing a fast and friendly check-out experience, executing cash handling, engaging customers about rewards programs and credit cards, assisting with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS), participating in truck un-loads, stocking, and planogram processes, supporting shrink and safety programs, and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.

Requirements

Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
Ability to move throughout the store.
Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching.
Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies.

Participate in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
