About The Position

The Store Support Teammate helps fulfill Buckle’s mission to create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for Guests and completes sales-support tasks assigned by the Store Manager. The role includes greeting Guests, assisting with transactions, maintaining knowledge of merchandise and store policies, supporting loss prevention, assisting with merchandising, and keeping the store clean, organized, and shoppable. The position is seasonal and part-time, with a flexible schedule that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and the day of or day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, depending on store and business needs. No prior experience or training is required. There are no supervisory responsibilities. Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and the day of or day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based on store and business needs.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with reasonable accommodations where applicable.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 pounds throughout the store and backroom.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and answer questions about the store and its merchandise.
• Complete Guest transactions using Point of Sale (POS) software and bag purchases.
• Maintain and share knowledge of current sales and promotions, payment and exchange policies, and security practices.
• Monitor and recognize security risks and theft, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.
• Assist the Operations Manager and/or Visual Merchandiser with merchandising tasks, including preparing displays at heights no greater than ten feet, organizing fixtures and shelving, completing price markdowns, and transfers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable store.
• Understand and apply Buckle’s Code of Ethics, policies, procedures, and handbooks.
• Perform job duties with a high level of Guest service and contribute to a positive team spirit.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
