About The Position

The Store Support Teammate helps fulfill Buckle’s mission to create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for Guests and completes sales support tasks assigned by the Store Manager. The role provides friendly Guest service, supports transactions and store operations, helps maintain a clean and organized shopping environment, and contributes to a positive team spirit. This is a seasonal, part-time position with no prior experience or training required. There are no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• No prior experience or training is required.
• Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations as applicable.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs throughout the store and backroom.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and the day of or day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based on store and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and answer questions about the store and its merchandise.
• Work a flexible schedule that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and the day of or day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based on store and business needs.
• Complete Guest transactions using Point of Sale (POS) software and bag purchases.
• Maintain and share knowledge of current sales and promotions, payment and exchange policies, and security practices.
• Monitor and recognize security risks and theft, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.
• Assist the Operations Manager and/or Visual Merchandiser with merchandising tasks, including preparing displays, organizing fixtures and shelving, completing price markdowns, and transfers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable store.
• Understand and apply Buckle’s Code of Ethics, policies, procedures, and handbooks.
• Perform duties with a high level of Guest service while contributing to a positive team spirit.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
