Store Sorter - Austintown
About The Position
Youngstown Area Goodwill Industries, Inc. is seeking a reliable and motivated Store Sorter for its Austintown, Ohio retail team. The role supports store operations by preparing donated merchandise that meets Goodwill’s quality standards for display and sale. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable of performing the duties, dependable, and committed to regular attendance. Training and support are provided. Applicants from diverse backgrounds, including people facing barriers to employment, are encouraged to apply. This is a part-time position with flexible hours based on store needs, with the possibility of full-time work in the future. The store operates seven days a week: Monday through Saturday, 9 AM–8 PM, and Sunday, 12 PM–5 PM. Employees must be available to work weekends and evenings as scheduled.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Dependability, punctuality, and consistent attendance.
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- No criminal background incompatible with a retail environment; a background check is required.
