About The Position

REI Co-op seeks a Store Sales Specialist to help customers have better outdoor experiences by sharing product knowledge, making recommendations, and engaging with customers. The role supports REI’s customer satisfaction guarantee by facilitating transactions, selling memberships, and promoting REI products and services. It also helps maintain the store’s appearance and keep merchandise organized on the sales floor, while staying current on product and service trends.

The position involves assisting customers, maintaining visual standards, participating in sales and service training, and supporting store pickup through product receiving and processing. The specialist follows loss prevention and safety procedures and works a flexible schedule based on business needs. Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions about products, memberships, and special ticket sales.
• Maintain visual standards in coordination with store management, merchandising, and sales leads.
