About The Position

The Brighton Store is located at the front of the Brighton Loop and serves day visitors, area residents, and multi-day guests. It is a one-stop shop offering fried food, a soda bar, ice cream, and a wide variety of outdoor apparel. The Store Sales Associate helps create a satisfying guest experience in the Wasatch Mountains by welcoming visitors, advising shoppers about merchandise, processing purchases accurately, and supporting store operations.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years old.
Hold a current food handlers permit.
Be able to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted.
Have a passion for guest service and the hospitality industry.
Be able to remain calm under pressure.
Have flexible availability during ski season, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors from around the globe in a friendly manner.
Become knowledgeable about the goods sold at The Store and assist and advise shoppers.
Maintain the cash drawer accurately and charge guests correctly for purchases.
Complete assigned opening and closing duties, cleaning, and restocking.
Work with and assist teammates to create an exceptional guest experience.
