The Store Sales Associate sells Deseret Book products and services while providing exceptional customer service. The associate assists customers with purchases and orders, operates cash registers, locates products, imprints items, and gift-wraps. The role also helps maintain the store’s appearance by stocking shelves, unpacking shipments, and presenting merchandise. Applicants must be flexible to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, Saturdays, and holidays except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. The store is closed Sundays.

Requirements

Ability to interact with customers in person and over the phone on a day-to-day basis.
Excellent customer service skills.
Good team skills.
Self-motivated.
Ability to hear, understand, and respond to customers and associates.
Ability to locate and identify products for customers.
Ability to regularly lift 20 pounds and occasionally lift 35–50 pounds.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, Saturdays, and holidays except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Responsibilities

Sell Deseret Book products and services while providing exceptional customer service.
