About The Position

Ben Bridge Jeweler, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway with over 110 years in business and thirty-two stores across the United States, is committed to providing customers with quality jewelry and an exceptional experience. We aim to be a jeweler for life, understanding that jewelry is a means of expression, love, personality, and history. Our Washington Square Mall store is seeking a full-time sales associate with experience in fine jewelry, watches, or other luxury sales. The ideal candidate will be energetic, committed to creating unforgettable moments, a self-starter who loves building relationships, and capable of working both independently and within a close-knit team. Ben Bridge Sales Associates showcase merchandise with enthusiasm and creativity.

Requirements

  • Be flexible with work schedule, including holidays
  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent in English
  • Minimum of 2 years of selling experience in a retail environment; or a combination of 3+ years of customer service experience and education
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Bilingual is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop authentic relationships with customers by assessing their needs, making personalized product recommendations and creating a memorable experience
  • Cultivate an in-depth knowledge of products and provide product knowledge, features and benefits to all customer when presenting merchandise
  • Connect with existing and potential customers and maintain customer information utilizing company supported technology
  • Inspect and clean customers' jewelry and consult on repairs for jewelry and timepieces
