About The Position

This role involves assisting with inventory management, including cycle counts and maintaining an organized storage area. The clerk will also be responsible for making parts runs and drop-offs, responding to urgent requests, unloading delivery trucks using a forklift, and collaborating with other departments to meet immediate needs. Ensuring the company vehicle is well-maintained and adhering to safety guidelines are also key aspects of the position. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, previous experience in a similar role, familiarity with inventory systems, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent education; trade school or college preferred.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably manufacturing or industrial setting.
Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and basic computer skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast paced environment.
Ability to work outdoors and lift 50 pounds required.

Responsibilities

Assist in regular cycle counts to validate physical inventory against system records.
Assist in maintaining an organized and well stocked inventory storage area.
Make parts runs and drop offs as needed.
Respond promptly to urgent requests for critical parts or supplies.
Unload delivery truck via forklift.
Collaborate with purchasing, maintenance and production to understand immediate needs.
Prioritize and expediate deliveries based on urgency of request.
Ensure company vehicle used for parts running is well maintained.
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while handling and transporting parts and equipment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
