About The Position
Provide guests with personalized Pottery Barn Kids merchandise utilizing a monogram machine and tools. This role requires high attention to detail to ensure accurate personalization and quality control of embroidered items. The Monogrammer will also be responsible for routine maintenance and upkeep of the embroidery machine.
Requirements
- 1-2 years retail sales experience (specialty retail preferred, but not required)
- 1-2 years customer service experience
- Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to operate embroidery machine and adhere to safety practices and policies
- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
- Ability to operate POS system
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
Responsibilities
- Select items for personalization and match guest orders.
- Ensure needle and threading match guest specifications.
- Assess embroidered items for frayed threading and assure quality before items are picked up by guest.
- Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on the embroidery machine.
