Rosemont Market & Bakery is seeking a Store Manager for their Cape Elizabeth location. The Store Manager will be responsible for all aspects of their assigned market, including guest experience, team leadership, product management, and store operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of leadership or management experience in retail, customer service, or food service
  • Hands-on experience with POS systems and inventory management
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Sharp attention to detail and time management
  • Comfort working both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to give, receive, and act on feedback
  • A focus on continuous improvement
  • English language proficiency

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team by partnering with HR to hire and onboard staff, train the team in Rosemont's standards, manage scheduling and coverage, supervise daily shift work, and deliver performance feedback.
  • Ensure the workplace is productive, respectful, and aligned with the company's mission.
  • Manage product by running live inventory, placing and adjusting orders with the Buying Department, hitting sales goals while reducing shrink, and processing invoices accurately.
  • Handle special orders from start to finish.
  • Uphold standards for sanitation, food safety, equipment use, and cleanliness in line with state and federal regulations.
  • Identify and report safety concerns and maintenance needs promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming market environment at all times.
