About The Position

Koch Air, LLC has been focused on the distribution of quality Carrier residential and commercial products since 1936, and is among the oldest and largest Carrier distributors. Today, Koch Air, has fifteen branch locations, 40 delivery vehicles, and more than 350,000 square feet of equipment and parts warehousing throughout the Midwest. We are currently seeking an experienced individual to lead our team as the Store Manager at our Lexington location. This position will be actively engaged in counter and phone sales, order fulfillment and building relationships with our customers while providing overall management of the operations of the store, including warehouse distribution.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 5 years’ experience in HVAC distribution or sales along with 2 years of management.
• Strong organization and communication skills both written and verbal
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Must be customer service focused.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC parts & supplies experience preferred
• Management experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall management of the branch and staff
• Promotes and maintains a strong safety culture by ensuring a safe work environment and reinforcing safe work practices.
• Responsible for the overall safety performance of the branch, including active participation in safety initiatives, training, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Serves walk-in and phone-in customers on counter.
• Assists in warehouse with shipping, receiving and material handling.
• Works with Purchasing to maintain proper inventory levels.
• Applies the continuous improvement process to all store operations including warehouse and storefront.
• Develop, coach, and mentor team members to build product knowledge, customer service skills, operational excellence, and overall job performance.
