About The Position

Bombas is seeking an innovative and results-driven Store Manager for their boutique powered by the Leap Platform, coming to Rittenhouse Row in July 2026. This leader will balance strategic business ownership with hands-on, client-focused leadership, driving sales performance while cultivating a warm, elevated in-store experience. The Store Manager will lead with clarity, empathy, and accountability, recruiting and developing a high-performing team through thoughtful hiring, coaching, and performance management. By setting clear expectations and leading by example on the sales floor, they will foster a collaborative, service-driven culture rooted in trust, professionalism, and brand pride. As a local market expert, the Store Manager will leverage community partnerships, events, and networking opportunities to drive traffic, deepen client relationships, and expand brand awareness. They will also partner with neighboring stores and execute impactful in-store activations that grow the customer base and strengthen community ties. Operational excellence is central to this role, ensuring brand standards are upheld across visual merchandising, cleanliness, inventory management, and shipment processing with strong attention to detail and consistency. The ideal candidate thrives in an independent, fast-paced retail environment, confidently managing daily operations including opening/closing procedures, scheduling, and payroll accuracy. This role may extend beyond the primary location, occasionally supporting other Leap-powered stores within the market. Responsibilities may include assisting with new store openings, onboarding team members, providing sales floor coverage, or leading community activations.

Requirements

  • Proven retail leadership experience, ideally within boutique, premium, or lifestyle brands, with a demonstrated ability to deliver elevated, personalized client experiences and cultivate long-term relationships.
  • Inspirational leadership style with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop teams through consistent feedback, clear communication, and hands-on support.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret performance metrics, identify trends, and adapt strategies to drive sales growth and profitability.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort navigating fast-paced, evolving environments while maintaining focus and accountability.
  • Demonstrated ability to build authentic client connections and serve as a brand ambassador with deep product knowledge and storytelling capability.
  • Proactive talent strategy experience including recruiting, networking, succession planning, and building strong talent pipelines.
  • Operational rigor and attention to detail across scheduling, payroll, inventory management, visual standards, and policy compliance.
  • Proficiency with digital tools such as Shopify, Endear, Slack, and Google Workspace to support business operations and team communication.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional travel as needed.
  • Ability to actively lead on the sales floor, including standing, walking, using ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Support other Leap-powered stores within the market, which may include assisting with new store openings, onboarding team members, providing sales floor coverage, or leading community activations.
  • Meet and exceed store sales targets, driving strong results in conversion, AOV, and UPT.
  • Achieve high Net Promoter Scores (NPS) and client retention through personalized outreach and relationship-building.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy, visual standards, and procedural excellence.
  • Build a loyal, engaged team through proactive coaching, recognition, and growth opportunities.
