About The Position

As a Store Manager at Sally Beauty, you will be a key leader in the largest hair and beauty supplier globally, dedicated to empowering customers through self-expression. This role requires a proven leader with a strong drive to succeed, who thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. You will act as an innovator, role model, and coach, driving results and fostering the development of team associates. Your primary focus will be on managing talent, inspiring your team, and ensuring every customer has a memorable experience with a custom-fit solution for their hair and beauty needs. You will be responsible for meeting or exceeding sales goals by overseeing all store operations, including budget management, expense control, sales growth, and inventory management. Additionally, you will ensure the safety and security of customers, associates, and store assets by enforcing safety rules, procedures, and Company policies, and maintaining the store's appearance.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of customer service/retail sales experience.
  • 1 year of previous sales management experience.
  • Previous experience in operational, financial, and performance management.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Passion for all things hair and beauty!
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
  • May be exposed to fumes and odors upon occasion.
  • Requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
  • Involves working around moving parts, carts, or machines, and may occasionally include exposure to irritant chemicals.
  • Must be able to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
