About The Position

Wolf & Badger is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead their flagship location on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood. This role is crucial for supporting the continued growth of their presence in the California market through retail excellence, community engagement, and strong operational leadership. The store manager will act as a brand ambassador, ensuring a world-class in-store experience and working collaboratively with marketing and brand partnership teams to support events and activations. The position involves recruiting, training, and developing the retail team, overseeing scheduling, and managing performance. The role also includes contributing to social media content creation, supporting marketing initiatives, and taking ownership of the store's day-to-day performance, including sales targets and KPI tracking. Building strong relationships with independent brands, providing coaching on customer experience and operations, and overseeing stock management and visual merchandising are also key responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have solid retail technology skills and be comfortable analyzing KPIs.

Requirements

Significant management experience within a store, events space, showroom or similar environment (3+ years).
Commercial acumen and experience of driving initiatives which increase footfall, brand visibility and reputation.
Experienced people manager with the ability to motivate, coach, and drive high standards of performance and professionalism.
Experience working on the shop floor with a strong understanding of retail operations.
Experience supporting events and participating in social media content creation.
Proven ability to lead and develop teams, including hiring and training.
Passionate about fashion, sustainability, and independent design.
Confident in leading by example, engaging with customers and building relationships within a community-driven environment.
Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable, with a hands-on approach.
Interest in working within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and growing international business.
Solid retail technology skills and curiosity to analyse KPIs.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and occasional evenings for events or activations.

Responsibilities

Personify Wolf & Badger's mission and values, acting as a brand ambassador and ensuring the team delivers a world-class in-store experience.
Work collaboratively with marketing and brand partnership teams to support the delivery of in-store events and activations.
Recruit, train, and develop retail team members, oversee scheduling and rotas, manage annual leave, and support team incentives and commission structures.
Support the creation of social media content in collaboration with marketing, press, and influencer teams.
Contribute ideas and support the execution of marketing and partnership activities in collaboration with internal teams.
Take ownership of the day-to-day performance of the store, including tracking sales targets, driving KPI performance, and motivating the team.
Build strong relationships with the independent brands represented in-store.
Provide ongoing coaching to the team on customer experience and operational best practices.
Oversee stock management and delivery processes, ensuring accurate handling of deliveries, inventory, and back-of-house organization.
Maintain exceptional visual merchandising standards.
