About The Position

Wolf & Badger is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead their flagship location in Los Angeles. This role is crucial in embodying the company's mission and values, acting as a brand ambassador, and ensuring a world-class in-store experience. The Store Manager will collaborate with marketing and brand partnership teams to execute events and activations, manage and develop the retail team, and oversee daily store operations. This position requires a strong understanding of retail excellence, community engagement, and operational leadership to support the growth of Wolf & Badger's presence in the California market. The company is a rapidly growing, Certified B Corporation focused on ethical fashion and sustainability.

Requirements

  • Significant management experience within a store, events space, showroom, or similar environment (3+ years).
  • Commercial acumen and experience driving initiatives to increase footfall, brand visibility, and reputation.
  • Experienced people manager with the ability to motivate, coach, and drive high standards of performance.
  • Experience working on the shop floor with a strong understanding of retail operations.
  • Experience supporting events and participating in social media content creation.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams, including hiring and training.
  • Passionate about fashion, sustainability, and independent design.
  • Confident in leading by example, engaging with customers, and building relationships in a community-driven environment.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable, with a hands-on approach.
  • Interest in working within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and growing international business.
  • Solid retail technology skills and curiosity to analyze KPIs.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Personify Wolf & Badger's mission and values, acting as a brand ambassador and ensuring the team delivers a world-class in-store experience.
  • Collaborate with marketing and brand partnership teams to support in-store events and activations.
  • Recruit, train, and develop retail team members, oversee scheduling, manage annual leave, and support team incentives.
  • Contribute to social media content creation in collaboration with marketing, press, and influencer teams.
  • Support the execution of marketing and partnership activities, ensuring alignment with budgets and priorities.
  • Take ownership of the day-to-day performance of the store, tracking sales targets, driving KPI performance, and motivating the team.
  • Build strong relationships with in-store brands to ensure the team has detailed product knowledge.
  • Provide ongoing coaching to the team on customer experience and operational best practices.
  • Oversee stock management, delivery processes, inventory accuracy, and back-of-house organization.
  • Maintain exceptional visual merchandising standards.
