Help people create homes they love. Join the Urban Barn team as a Full-time Store Manager at our new Moncton, New Brunswick store, opening at the end of October 2026. With over 50 retail stores across Canada, Urban Barn is a proudly Canadian retailer offering high-quality furniture and home décor. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for creating an excellent customer and employee experience while achieving sales targets and promotional results for your store. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new store opening, contribute to building a team from the ground up, and bring your creativity and passion for design into a large-format store environment. Training is scheduled to begin on September 8, 2026, with some sessions taking place at our Dartmouth, NS store. Our stores are open 7 days a week, so we are looking for candidates who can work 40 hours per week and are available to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Retail Sales Management
- Experience developing top sales teams and stretching individuals to their full potential
- Ability to multi-task and collaborate
- Ability to effectively communicate – provide and receive feedback in the moment
- Commitment to a flexible schedule (Open to daytime, evening, and weekend shifts)
- The ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs / 23 kg

Responsibilities
- Motivate your team to deliver the best customer experience
- Recruit and retain the best talent for your store location
- Communicate your expectations to the team and provide training, coaching, and feedback
- Manage store merchandising, inventory, and shrink
- Lead and maintain the visual standards and cleanliness of the store
- Grow and manage the business within your community, representing the brand in a professional manner
