About The Position

Blarney Castle Oil Co. is seeking a Full-Time Exempt Store Manager for its St. Ignace, Michigan location. Blarney Castle Oil Co. has been a part of Michigan's retail C-Store operations since 1933 and has grown to over 1,800 team members across the state, all focused on creating excellent customer experiences. The Store Manager will be responsible for leading and inspiring the store team, teaching, coaching, and developing team members, and identifying future leaders. This role involves close collaboration with Assistant Managers to ensure they understand business operations and can provide support. The Store Manager will also focus on motivating the team to achieve store goals and metrics, fostering strong customer relationships, driving repeat business, processing audits, and completing compliance tasks essential to retail operations.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent is necessary.
At least five years of progressively responsible retail experience.
Demonstrate an interactive leadership style.
Ability to build relationships.
Coaching skills.
Understanding of technology.
Demonstrate a drive and purpose that comes with being an engaged leader.
Ability to communicate professionally and pleasantly.
Reliable transportation and valid car insurance will be needed.

A combination of college credits and applicable work experience would be helpful.
