About The Position

We’re hiring for a Store Manager for our Ace Hardware location! The primary focus of this position is to direct and manage all phases of store operation. This individual is responsible for obtaining maximum sales and gross profits through effective utilization of personnel and resources available.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Previous retail/customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service while serving as a role model for the store
  • Plan, develop and implement organization policies and goals, establish priorities and communicate expectations to staff
  • Hire, train, motivate, and develop staff, deliver performance evaluations and coaching for increased performance
  • Direct and coordinate ordering, merchandising, and pricing of merchandise ensuring compliance with support center directives.
  • Monitor arrival of new products and arrange entry into POS system with the support center team
  • Oversee housekeeping, sanitation, and safety programs and overall physical and facilities maintenance of the hardware store.
