About The Position

The Location Manager is responsible for the overall operational, financial, and personnel performance of the assigned location. This role ensures safe operations, customer satisfaction, profitability, and team development while adhering to company policies, regulatory requirements, and performance expectations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, branch, or location management
  • Strong leadership and people‑management skills
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and KPIs
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities
  • Dependable - Employee must be reliable, responsible and trustworthy, and complete all assigned obligations.
  • Attention to Detail - Employee must be thorough in completing tasks and must always be aware of potential safety issues.
  • Cooperation - Employee must be pleasant with others on the job and display a good-natured, cooperative attitude.
  • Integrity - Employee is required to be honest and ethical.
  • Communication - Employee must provide courteous and clear written and verbal communication with customers and co-workers.
  • Lifting and carrying – the ability to lift and transport objects of specified weights, which may vary by job. For example, a job may require lifting up 25-50lbs regularly.
  • Standing and walking – this position will require standing and walking for periods of time
  • Bending and stooping – bending, stooping, or crouching are requiring to effectively preform essential duties of this position.
  • Reaching and pushing/pulling – the ability to reach for items, push carts, or pull equipment will be necessary for daily activities.
  • Sitting – there will be times this position will be needed to sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • This position will also be required to operate certain machinery and other equipment safely.

Nice To Haves

  • 3-6 years of experience working with commercial vehicles/tires
  • Experience in industrial, distribution, fleet, or service‑based environments
  • Knowledge of inventory management and safety regulations

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the location to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance
  • Implement company policies, procedures, and operational standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper controls and documentation
  • Coordinate facility maintenance, equipment upkeep, and safety practices
  • Any other duties assigned by the Commercial Manager
  • Manage location P&L, budgets, and cost controls
  • Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators
  • Drive revenue growth while controlling expenses
  • Ensure accurate cash handling, invoicing, and reporting
  • Hire, train, coach, and evaluate location staff
  • Schedule labor to align with business needs
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety
  • Address performance issues and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction through service quality and responsiveness
  • Resolve customer concerns and escalations professionally
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and vendors
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements
  • Conduct safety meetings and enforce safe work practices
  • Maintain required documentation and reporting
