The Opportunity We're looking for an experienced, driven, and people-first leader to join us as Store Manager at our Woodbridge, VA location. In this role, you'll set the tone for an exceptional client experience, lead a talented team of jewelry professionals, and take ownership of a store that truly means something to the community it serves. Requirements

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing a sales team in a retail environment
  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals as both a manager and individual contributor
  • Experience hiring, training, coaching, and managing performance in a retail setting
  • Ability to build sales forecasts, analyze sales data, and manage store budgets
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of current jewelry trends, precious metals, and gemstones
  • Resourceful problem-solver with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence
  • Availability to work weekends

Nice To Haves

  • Accredited Jewelry Professional (AJP), GIA Graduate Gemologist, or Graduate Diamonds certification preferred - but not required on day one- we will help you get there

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team daily - praising great work publicly, addressing concerns privately, and building a culture of excellence
  • Own store performance: set and monitor individual and team sales goals, drive closing ratios, and consistently meet or exceed targets
  • Oversee all day-to-day operations including opening/closing procedures, scheduling, inventory management, security protocols, and store maintenance
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and referral sources through regular networking (10 hours/month goal)
  • Execute strategic marketing plans from the corporate Marketing Department, including development of local collateral materials
  • Manage hiring, onboarding, and ongoing performance for all store associates
  • Step in as needed to support Sales Associates, Jewelry Designer, Customer Service, and Repair Processor roles
  • Conduct daily floor sales meetings and maintain open, proactive communication with your team and the regional management team
  • Serve as a key holder, including responding to emergency calls and alarm response as needed
