About The Position

Goodwill Industries--Knoxville, Inc. is seeking a full-time Retail Store Manager for our Clinton store. Ideal candidates will be energetic, flexible, have excellent customer service skills, reliable transportation and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. The primary goal is to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation and stewardship of the assigned Goodwill store(s) to maximize profitability and increase training opportunities. Under the supervision of the VP of Retail, the Store Manager is responsible for all aspects of operating the store(s) assigned.

Requirements

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Regularly required to stand and/or walk for long periods
Use hands to handle
Reach with hands and arms
Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds
Regularly lift and /or move up to 20 lbs. of force frequently

Responsibilities

Support daily store operations and team leadership (6 months – 1 year experience)
Deliver outstanding customer service
Responsible for budget and reaching goals of the store
Hire, Train, motivate, and inspire team members
Ensure processes and procedures are followed by team members
Maintain team member schedules through the system
Ensure clear and precise communication with team members and supervisors
Assist with achieving store goals and performance standards
