The Store Leadership Trainee (SLT) Program is a structured training program designed to prepare individuals for roles such as Merchandising Manager or Operations Manager (Assistant Store Manager) at a Kohl's store. The program covers various aspects of running a successful business, including Human Resources, Operations, Merchandising, Team Development, and Omni-channel Management. New hires typically train for 8 weeks, while internal participants may have a shorter training period. Kohl's offers multiple start dates throughout the year based on business needs. Upon completion of the program, Kohl's will determine, based on performance, availability, and business needs, if there is an opportunity for continued employment as a Merchandising Manager or Operations Manager.
