About The Position

Town Pump is seeking a motivated and outgoing Store Grocery Merchandiser. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate product pricing and inventory, ordering and receiving merchandise, keeping products stocked and fresh, and creating attractive displays. Responsibilities

• Correct and maintain product pricing, including downloading price changes, updating cooler pricing and white-tag items, updating product tag numbers, and tracking updated and discontinued items.
• Keep the store clean and attractive, with ample quality merchandise available.
• Maintain accurate inventory pricing, including price changes and markups or markdowns.
• Order merchandise from multiple vendors and check in vendor products.
• Return guaranteed items weekly.
• Cross-reference deliveries, put away stock orders, and keep backstock at a minimal level.
• Stock and rotate products, monitor expiration dates, and keep merchandise fresh.
• Build creative merchandise displays and set merchandise to schematic with assistance from vendors.
• Print price books and maintain PLUs, displays, and signage.
• Perform clerk duties as described in the clerk job description.
