About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining a high standard of the store's overall look and feel, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to deliver Brand Promises. The team member will provide friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping the store, and help them find what they are looking for. The position involves collecting and disposing of trash, dusting and damp mopping floors, moving equipment and products for proper cleaning, and cleaning assigned areas with provided materials and equipment. This may include mixing cleaning solutions. The role also requires deep cleaning of key areas such as bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and other high-traffic areas to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and staff. The team member must maintain cleaning equipment, notify supervisors of supply needs, and proactively seek out areas requiring cleaning. All tasks are to be completed in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines. Maintaining positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers is essential, projecting a positive image and serving as a role model. Additional duties may include providing a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling, engaging customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments, assisting with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS), participating in truck un-loads, stocking, and planogram processes, and supporting shrink and safety programs. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs is required to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.

Requirements

Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers.
Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement.
Clean assigned areas with assigned materials and equipment.
Mix water and detergents to prepare cleaning solutions.
Deep clean key areas of the store including bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways and other high traffic areas.
Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly and notify supervisor of supply needs.
Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the task.
Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
Provide a fast and friendly check out experience.
Execute cash handling to standards.
Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
Participate in the truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
