STORE DELI MANAGER $15.50/hr+Monthly Bonus
About The Position
Town Pump is looking for a motivated and outgoing Store Deli Manager to join their team. Town Pump is a growing company with increasing opportunities for career growth. As a Store Deli Manager, you will assist the store manager in supervisory decisions, planning, leadership, organization, and follow-up with controllable expenses, sales expenses, sales increases, food costs, and shortage controls. You will set an exemplary example for co-workers in terms of professionalism, attitude, and teamwork in customer service and Convenience Store Operations. You will conduct new employee orientation and training, promote continued development of all employees, and objectively document performance and conduct evaluations. You will conduct daily walk-throughs, effectively prioritize, organize, delegate, and follow-up on tasks. You will maintain accurate inventories, order and maintain deli merchandise, and achieve favorable deli metrics. You will conduct maintenance in the deli area, including basic preventative maintenance and repairs of deli equipment. You will follow all sanitation procedures and maintain the highest quality standards in food preparation. You will prepare deli items and cook heated items as required, and promote kitchen and store safety. You will check in deli vendors, cross-check orders, and check items by line number. You will put away the order once received and watch for miss-picks, wrong pack sizes, and broken/open merchandise. You will maintain PLUs and print lists for tills. You will keep product rotated and fresh, and check expiration dates. You will remove and discard unauthorized products. You will be required to complete and pass ServSafe certification (may be waived by Deli Operations Manager) and have a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
