About The Position
This position is responsible for assisting store customers in donating, selecting, and purchasing store items. It involves operating and maintaining a cash register, as well as receiving, sorting, pricing, and preparing donated items for display in the store. The role requires maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of store displays, the register area, and the warehouse area.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Experience working in a retail store preferred, or Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Responsibilities
- Assists customers purchasing items by utilizing a cash register.
- Collects monies, counts change, and prepares receipts.
- Receive, sorts, prices and prepares donated items for display in the store.
- Hang and tag clothing
- Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of store displays, register area, and warehouse area
