Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
High School education or equivalent is preferred.
Previous retail and/or cashiering experience is highly preferred.
Basic computer skills.
Beginner knowledge of touch screen cash registers.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service while operating a cash register.
Ring up all sales transactions.
Operate a cash register.
Greet and assist customers/donors.
Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude.
Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate customer service at all times.
Direct customers to the proper area and provide general information as requested.
Ring up all sales transactions into the cash register and complete sales.
Ensure that each customer receives the proper change and correct receipt for purchase.
Follow all policies and procedures concerning cash, check, charge card transactions, voids, gift cards, and change Round Up program.
Keep the register area clean and orderly at all times.
Answer telephone calls promptly using an established etiquette procedure.
Assist sales floor employees with stocking and recovery.
