About The Position

The Store Associate role focuses on maintaining the store's appearance and providing excellent customer service. This includes ensuring cleanliness, assisting customers with their shopping needs, and handling transactions. The position also involves supporting various store operations such as stocking, inventory management, and adhering to company policies and safety programs. The goal is to create a positive and inspiring environment for both customers and team members.

Requirements

Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers.
Collect and dispose of trash.
Dust and damp mop floors.
Move equipment and products for cleaning and proper placement.
Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment.
Mix cleaning solutions.
Deep clean key areas of the store (bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, high traffic areas).
Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly.
Notify supervisor of supply needs.
Seek out and complete cleaning tasks proactively.
Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
Provide a fast and friendly check-out experience.
Execute cash handling to standards.
Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, Ship from Store).
Participate in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram processes.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
Execute Company policies and standards.
