About The Position

The Store Associate role focuses on maintaining the store's appearance and ensuring a positive customer experience. This includes tasks related to cleanliness, organization, and customer service. The associate will also be involved in operational duties such as checkouts, inventory management, and supporting company programs. The goal is to create a welcoming and efficient environment for both customers and team members, upholding the company's values and standards.

Requirements

  • Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
  • Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
  • Provide friendly customer service and assist customers in locating products.
  • Collect and dispose of trash according to procedures.
  • Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
  • Move equipment and products for cleaning and ensure correct placement.
  • Clean assigned areas using specified materials and equipment.
  • Mix cleaning solutions as needed.
  • Deep clean key areas such as bathrooms, breakrooms, and entryways.
  • Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly and report supply needs.
  • Identify and address areas requiring cleaning proactively.
  • Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
  • Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
  • Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
  • Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience and execute cash handling.
  • Engage customers about the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
  • Participate in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs for compliance.
  • Execute Company policies and standards.
