About The Position

As a Store Associate, you bring the Vera Bradley brand to life as its face in the store. You work with store leadership to achieve sales goals and deliver an excellent shopping experience and best-in-class customer service. You uphold Vera Bradley’s core values and help make the world a brighter place through every customer touchpoint.

The role involves recommending products suited to customers’ needs, supporting sales through add-on selling and customer outreach, and engaging customers through product awareness and team selling. You also execute and improve daily operational procedures, help maintain visual standards, and keep the store organized and inviting. Reliability and adherence to company policies and procedures are essential.

This is a part-time position. The role requires availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays to support peak business needs. The listed base pay range is $11.83–$17.79 per hour, with a starting pay of $14.00 USD; individual pay depends on work location.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Love interacting with people.
• Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to support peak business needs.
• Walk and stand constantly; bend, stoop, and reach frequently.
• Have strong sensory skills, including good eyesight, good hearing, and dexterity.
• Consistently lift 10–35 lbs.; occasionally lift up to 55 lbs.; and be able to push or pull more than 55 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Recommend Vera Bradley products to meet customers’ needs and support store results through add-on selling and customer outreach.
• Create an exceptional in-store experience by engaging customers through product awareness and team selling.
• Execute and innovate daily operational procedures.
• Support the team in maintaining visual standards and keeping the store organized and inviting.
