About The Position

The Store Associate role focuses on maintaining the overall look and feel of the store, ensuring cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver Brand Promises. This role involves delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers with their shopping needs, and performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks. Additionally, the Store Associate may be involved in checkout processes, customer engagement for loyalty programs, Omni channel support, truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining safety and shrink programs. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and Company programs is essential for compliance and execution of company policies.

Requirements

  • Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
  • Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
  • Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers.
  • Collect and dispose of trash.
  • Dust and damp mop floors.
  • Move equipment and products for proper cleaning.
  • Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment.
  • Mix cleaning solutions.
  • Deep clean key areas of the store (bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, high traffic areas).
  • Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly.
  • Notify supervisor of supply needs.
  • Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative.
  • Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
  • Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
  • Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
  • Provide a fast and friendly check out experience.
  • Execute cash handling to standards.
  • Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, Ship from Store).
  • Participate in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram processes.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
  • Execute Company policies and standards.
