About The Position

Store Associates support all aspects of daily Lidl store operations in a dynamic, team-based role. They serve customers and move between checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and promotional setups as store needs change. The role operates in a structured environment focused on efficiency, operational execution, and high standards for product quality, presentation, and cleanliness.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products up to and in excess of 45 lbs. and frequently reach above head height (10+ inches).

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, efficient customer service.
Transition between checkout, stocking, bakery, and produce to meet store needs.
Meet productivity goals and follow store processes, including pallet-to-shelf stocking.
Conduct daily freshness checks in produce and chilled areas.
Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers, ensuring accurate signage and pricing.
Maintain cleanliness across the sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
Operate the register quickly and accurately, including memorizing produce price look-up codes (PLUs).
Handle customer inquiries and returns, and resolve or escalate customer issues professionally.
Follow inventory control measures to help maintain inventory accuracy and reduce stock loss.
Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
Work with the team to complete daily tasks on time and support smooth operations for the next shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
