About The Position

Store Associates support all aspects of daily store operations and provide a fast, customer-focused shopping experience. The role moves between checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and promotional setups according to store needs. It involves working at a high pace in a structured, team-based environment, following operational processes and efficiency standards, and helping keep the store ready for customers and the next shift. This is a part-time position in Marietta, Georgia.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products weighing up to and in excess of 45 pounds.
Ability to reach above head height frequently.

Responsibilities

Engage customers with friendly, efficient service.
Move between checkout, stocking, bakery, and produce duties to meet store needs.
Meet productivity goals and follow Lidl processes, including pallet-to-shelf stocking.
Perform freshness checks in produce and chilled areas and maintain quality and presentation standards.
Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers, including signage and pricing.
Maintain cleanliness across the sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
Operate the register quickly and accurately, including using memorized produce price look-up codes (PLUs).
Handle customer inquiries and returns, and resolve or escalate customer issues professionally.
Follow inventory-control measures to help maintain accurate inventory and reduce stock loss.
Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
Work with the team to complete daily tasks on time and support smooth operations for the next shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
