About The Position

The Store Associate role focuses on maintaining the store's appearance and providing excellent customer service. This includes ensuring the store is clean, organized, and welcoming for customers. Associates assist customers in finding products, handle transactions at checkout, and support various store operations such as stocking, inventory management, and online order fulfillment. The role also involves upholding company policies, safety standards, and promoting a positive store environment.

Requirements

Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.

Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in locating products.
Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement.
Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment.
Mix water and detergents to prepare cleaning solutions.
Deep clean key areas of the store, including bathrooms, breakrooms, and entryways.
Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly and notify supervisor of supply needs.
Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks.
Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
Provide a fast and friendly check-out experience and execute cash handling to standards.
Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
Participate in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
Execute Company policies and standards.
