About The Position

McClure Oil is hiring Snack Experts, also known as Store Associates, to provide customers with a strong service experience and support store operations. Team members help with merchandising and marketing initiatives and may have opportunities to grow within the company; 80% of McClure Oil Store Managers started as Store Associates.

The role includes assisting customers, maintaining stocked shelves and coolers, processing transactions, working collaboratively, keeping the store clean, and recommending additional products. Duties and responsibilities may change, and management may assign or reassign work at its discretion.

Requirements

• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to reach, stand, and move about for at least 12 hours at a time.
• Ability to use a ladder and lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, offer assistance, answer questions, and help provide a positive customer experience.
• Stock shelves and coolers.
• Learn where products are located and guide customers to items.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Work with other team members and provide help when needed.
• Keep the inside and outside of the store clean and inviting, including cleaning machines.
• Use upselling and suggestive-selling techniques to recommend products and bargain buys.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
