Retail-Now Hiring, Part-Time- Store Associate
About The Position
The Store Associate delivers a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean, organized store. The role adheres to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may involve cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. The associate supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, and follows established procedures for customer transactions, merchandising, merchandise processing, store recovery, cleanliness, safety, and shrink reduction. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities
- Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and provide correct change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Follow applicable labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
