Tanco Engineering is seeking skilled Storage Tank Welders to join their traveling crews. This role involves ensuring the structural integrity of storage tanks through various welding techniques.

Requirements

At least one year of experience on above ground storage tanks.
Must pass the following weld tests: SMAW 2G, 3G, & 4G and FCAW 2G, 3G, & 4G.
Must obtain and maintain an active status within the drug testing program and pass background screening.
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Excellent attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

Utilize welding skills to ensure the structural integrity of storage tanks through various techniques like stick and flux core welding.
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure welding tasks meet all specifications.
Inspect work for quality control, promptly addressing any issues.
Work alongside the team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time.
Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
Keep welding equipment in top shape with routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
