About The Position

Tanco Engineering is seeking skilled Storage Tank Welders to join their traveling crews. This role involves ensuring the structural integrity of storage tanks through various welding techniques.

Requirements

5+ years experience in welding verts on new tanks
Must pass the following weld tests: SMAW 2G, 3G, & 4G
Must pass the following weld tests: FCAW 2G, 3G, & 4G
Must obtain and maintain an active status within the drug testing program and pass background screening
TWIC card may be required
Be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must have excellent attendance and show up to work on time every day

Responsibilities

Utilize welding skills to ensure the structural integrity of storage tanks through various techniques like stick and flux core welding
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure welding tasks meet all specifications
Inspect work for quality control, promptly addressing any issues
Work alongside the team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time
Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols
Keep welding equipment in top shape with routine maintenance and troubleshooting
