About The Position

U-Haul is seeking friendly, motivated individuals to join their team as Storage Customer Service Representatives. This role involves being the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring they receive excellent service by inspecting and maintaining equipment. You will also utilize technology to manage equipment dispatch and returns. The position includes on-the-job training, with a 'Hire Fast, Pay Fast' philosophy, offering same-day pay for interviews and a hiring bonus. A further bonus is available upon completion of the U-Haul Equipment Inspection and Verification through the 1-2-3 Punch Certification Program.

Requirements

• Driver’s license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record
• Excellent communication skills
• Available to work on weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Support the site manager with facility operations.
• Answer phone inquiries from active and prospective customers.
• Show storage units, explain the terms of rental agreements and prepare rental contracts.
• Perform general routine property cleanup and minor repair work.
• Ensure that all vacant storage units are clean, dry, secure and available for new customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
