About The Position

U-Haul is seeking friendly, motivated individuals for the role of Storage Customer Service Representative. In this position, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and assistance. Your responsibilities will include inspecting and maintaining equipment, using technology to manage equipment dispatch and returns, and ensuring customers have a positive experience. This role offers on-the-job training, with a 'Hire Fast, Pay Fast' philosophy, meaning you can start and get paid quickly. U-Haul also provides incentives such as a hiring bonus and a certification bonus for equipment inspection.

Requirements

• Driver’s license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record
• Excellent communication skills
• Available to work on weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Support the site manager with facility operations.
• Answer phone inquiries from active and prospective customers.
• Show storage units, explain the terms of rental agreements and prepare rental contracts.
• Perform general routine property cleanup and minor repair work.
• Ensure that all vacant storage units are clean, dry, secure and available for new customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
