About The Position
Seasonal Stone Haus Pizza Cook/Cashier Solitude Mountain Resort Job Title: Stone Haus Pizza Cook/Cashier Division: Food and Beverage Reports To: Stone Haus Manager Location: Stone Haus Pizzeria Classification: Full-Time / Part-Time / Seasonal / Hourly POSITION Are you a motivated, guest-focused person with food and beverage experience? Want to work somewhere with incredible views and an even better team? As a Stone Haus Cook/Cashier, you'll take orders, make great pizza, and deliver friendly, efficient service to skiers, riders, and summer guests. Plus, who doesn't love pizza? Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older (required by Utah law to sell and serve alcohol)
- Must obtain a Utah Food Handler Permit within 30 days of hire
- Must complete Utah DABS-approved alcohol server training within 30 days of hire
- Must arrive on time and in full Stone Haus uniform for every scheduled shift
- Must maintain a clean, neat personal appearance and follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Must follow all Solitude Mountain Resort standards, policies, and procedures, including food safety, alcohol service, and age verification protocols
- Kitchen or restaurant experience preferred; ability to follow recipes and operate restaurant equipment
- Strong customer service skills
- Team player who communicates and collaborates well
- Efficient food preparation and cleaning practices
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Responsibilities
- Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter them into the POS system
- Learn the Stone Haus menu well enough to make recommendations and answer guest questions
- Prepare and assemble menu items to recipe and presentation standards
- Sell and serve beer responsibly, verify guest age, and refuse service when appropriate
- Keep the lobby, dining area, and workstations stocked and clean throughout the shift
- Complete opening, closing, and side-work duties
- Assist the Stone Haus Manager with additional tasks as needed
