Regional West Health Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Stockroom Specialist to join our Supply Chain team. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Familiarity with inventory systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Basic computer proficiency

Experience in healthcare supply chain, distribution, or warehouse operations preferred

Responsibilities

Perform walk-throughs of supply areas and check inventory levels.
Organize supplies, equipment, and materials.
Review notes or requests from the previous shift.
Prepare and deliver supplies to patient care areas and departments.
Receive incoming shipments and check items against purchase orders and packing slips.
Identify and resolve discrepancies, damaged items, or shortages.
Ensure inventory is organized and safe in the storeroom.
Rotate stock using FIFO practices and manage expiration dates.
Perform cycle counts to verify inventory levels and maintain system accuracy.
Document and correct inventory inconsistencies.
Communicate with clinical staff to understand their needs.
Coordinate with the team to ensure supply availability.
Maintain clean, organized, and compliant storage areas.
Follow infection prevention protocols and handle materials properly.
Ensure all activities meet regulatory standards.
Perform a final round to confirm inventory status and restock critical items.
Prepare the stockroom for the next shift.
