About The Position
The Lead Stockroom role provides guidance, support, and motivation to staff, manages conflict, monitors processes, represents their team, and trains staff to ensure tasks are being performed accurately.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact with diverse groups
- Competent in math
- Problem solving skills
- Basic understanding of all department processes.
- Ability to influence and guide outfitters in the organization.
- Ability to pass Motor Vehicle Report
Responsibilities
- Assists Supervisor with managing, guiding, coaching and adjusting work flow as needed to accomplish goal.
- Ensures team members are trained and follow safety requirements.
- Ensures team members are trained per their job duties and understand takt time.
- Identifies and helps improve safety, quality, and delivery opportunities.
- Articulates problems, temporary containments, gap analysis, actions, and sustainment through an A3 process.
- Tracks SQDC metrics.
- Travels between plants to deliver parts.
