About The Position

Receives and stores and issues equipment material, supplies, or tools. Compiles stock records in stockroom. Coordinates flow of product to and from finishing operations. Initiates, receives, and reconciles purchase orders. Follows safe operating procedures, maintains 7S standards, performs TPM activities as required, reviews standard work, quality policies, processes, and operator instructions, and performs quality checks as required on incoming items, accurately recording using Plexus. Identifies, contains, and generates Discrepant Material Label / Report for any nonconforming material and forwards to the Material Review Board. Communicates with co-workers to discuss problems and concerns. Manages stockroom inventory, counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices, examines stock to verify conformance to specification, stores articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material, fills orders or issues from stock, prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock (cycle counts), requisitions articles to fill incoming orders, compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location charges, and refusal of shipments, and handles the issuance of non-stock items to appropriate departments and distribution of stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have good communication skills to communicate with vendors and internal personnel.
  • Required to obtain lift truck certification.
  • Must get a physical card to drive single axle truck.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications and Plex business system.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to drive a company vehicle.
