About The Position
Harborview Medical Center's Laundry and Linen Department is seeking a Linen Services Attendant. This role is crucial for maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. The attendant will provide prompt and courteous service as part of a dedicated team supporting UW Medicine's 'Patients Are First' initiative. Requirements
- Six months of full-time experience as a Stockroom Attendant/Linen Services Attendant.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated requirements.
Responsibilities
- Deliver clean linen carts for patient care units and clinics within the hospital.
- Restock and build clean linen carts.
- Collect and transport soiled linen to soiled holding areas at the loading dock.
- Meet laundry trucks and ensure all orders are correct.
- Maintain and keep accurate records of linen stock levels.
