About The Position

The Stockroom Operator - Shipping & Receiving supports manufacturing operations by accurately receiving, storing, dispensing, and tracking inventory materials, including raw materials and intermediates. The role helps maintain inventory accuracy, ensures materials are available for production on time, and supports shipping, receiving, and stockroom activities. It requires following quality, safety, and inventory-control processes while contributing to continuous improvement. Attention to detail, organization, accuracy, and effective communication are important for success.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to perform the job safely and effectively.
Proficiency with basic computer applications and inventory-related business systems, including SAP, Excel, Outlook, Word, and Workday.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and mathematical aptitude.
Ability to follow instructions and meet quality and performance standards.

Nice To Haves

Five years of experience in manufacturing inventory control and/or shipping and receiving operations.

Responsibilities

Receive, handle, store, dispense, and track inventory materials according to established procedures and inventory-control requirements.
Complete timely and accurate inventory transactions, support physical inventory counts, and keep inventory records current and reliable.
Coordinate material availability for production schedules and support shipping, receiving, and stockroom operations, including cross-training activities.
Follow safety, quality, security, and process requirements; maintain clean, organized work areas; and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist with disposal of obsolete materials, participate in plant projects and improvement efforts, and perform additional assignments as business needs require.
