About The Position

The Stockroom Coordinator is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day operations of the stockroom, ensuring accurate inventory control, timely processing of orders, and effective coordination with internal departments and external suppliers. This includes the physical receiving, storage, handling, and distribution of materials and supplies in support of parking operations. The role focuses on hands-on warehouse duties, ensuring materials are safely moved, stored, and prepared for use by operational teams. This role supports receiving activities and the distribution of materials to various teams within the organization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a warehouse, stockroom, or materials handling environment.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
  • Comfortable working in various indoor and outdoor conditions.
  • Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Able to learn and use SAP work order application or other TPA software as needed.
  • Ability to work with accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Internal candidates: Employees must have at least one (1) year of continuous service in their current role to be eligible for application.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, inspect, and physically move incoming deliveries.
  • Sort, label, and store materials in designated warehouse or stockroom locations.
  • Pull materials and supplies based on issued pick tickets or work orders.
  • Prepare materials for distribution and delivery to various teams within the organization.
  • Load, secure, and stage outbound materials and equipment.
  • Assist with the movement of materials between locations as required.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any order-related issues, escalating concerns to appropriate internal Supervisor as necessary.
  • Perform physical inventory counts and cycle counts as assigned, including assisting with inventory reviews and audits
  • Report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials to supervisor.
  • Assist with restocking shelves, bins, and storage areas.
  • Rotate stock to ensure older inventory is issued first.
  • Input and update inventory records in SAP or other inventory management systems.
  • Perform routine transactions in SAP.
  • Issue uniforms and equipment to staff based on approved requests.
  • Collect returned uniforms or equipment when required.
  • Maintain organized storage of uniform inventory.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
  • Use material handling equipment (e.g., carts, pallet jacks) safely and correctly.
  • Report hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
  • Assist in creation of purchase requisitions and purchase orders
  • Support receiving processes and ensure accurate documentation in SAP
  • Work with suppliers on timely delivery and to address order-related issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation of records storage boxes at TPA facilities, including numbering and labelling for easy access and retrieval; track movement of records storage boxes
  • Maintain organized and secure handling of archived materials
  • Other duties as required.
