About The Position

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Stockroom Clerk receives delivery of goods and fulfills orders while following internal processes and procedures for recording, maintaining, and organizing inventory. Stockroom Clerk works closely with and takes day-to-day direction from Stockroom Lead. This role requires use and operation of powered industrial trucks including, but not limited to motorized pallet jacks.

  • Ability and willingness to comply with all company policies, processes, and procedures including, but not limited to code of conduct.
  • Ability and knowledge to use and apply basic numeracy skills.
  • Ability and skill to fluently speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One (1) year employment with The IFH Group or two (2) years’ previous work experience in supply chain management, warehouse, inventory, or related field required.
  • Basic numeracy and computer skills required.
  • Experience working in manufacturing setting and using ERP required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures accuracy of incoming deliveries of goods by reviewing vendor/supplier orders or tickets. Escalates any inaccuracies or damages with deliveries of goods immediately to Stockroom Lead.
  • Receives incoming deliveries of goods and accurately records goods as inventory into ERP system.
  • Organizes stockroom with incoming deliveries of goods.
  • Locates stock and fulfills orders according to quantity or pick ticket while prioritizing accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Locates stock and fulfills employee requests for personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintains accurate recordkeeping of inventory including usage. Escalates inventory discrepancies to Stockroom Lead without delay.
  • Restocks inventory manually and as necessary.
  • Assists and supports stockroom and purchasing team members, as necessary.
  • Performs other relevant duties, tasks, assignments, and projects, upon request or as business needs require.
